Cross country skiing in the Ötztal
Beneficial and healthy
15km of cross-country skiing tracks and 10km of skating tracks are available, as well as a small biathlon facility that can be used weekly without advance notice. With original air rifles used in youth and junior shooting at 10m distance. The size of the folding target is set in the same proportion as you would find at the 50m distance.
Cross country paradise in the Ötztal
You can do your rounds in Gries but also in nearby Längenfeld.
The Ötztal offers you a total of 185 km of skating and classic trails. A trip to Niederthai and to Umhausen is also a worthwhile alternative for cross-country skiers.
Beginners can enroll in professional courses and thus start right from the beginning with the right technique. But also for advanced skiers there are challenging trails.
